Friary Road closure

The joys of the Churchfield Road LTN have been enhanced today with the closure of Friary Road.The only way to access my house in a car is through a series of twists and turns.Anyone know how long this will continue?- I can find no mention of it online, not listed on TfL or Ealing list of Road closuresAbout the time the LTN was introduced, Catalyst (or who ever it is) send a consultation around and I asked whether this would happen, I was told no.Guess I deserve this for continuing to own a car. I guess the message hasn't sunk in yet and I deserve more punishment.

That's some racket the drilling rig makes.Ho Hum, only another 5 years or so of various daily construction noise nuisances..........

Walked past about 4pm and it looks like they have cleared the works.Phew....

Good news at last. Having spent a lot of time on the phone with the council, I have now been told that Friary Road works will finish tonight and should be open tomorrow morning. They will send an inspector around to check and if not, the council will give them a fine. Fingers crossed.

Be prepared for much more inconvenience tho as they redevelop the estate.

According to the list of local road closures linked to on the front page Friary Road is closed until 1 August.
