Anti-LTN March This Saturday

If you are opposed to the council's traffic measures take the time to turn up for the march organised by One Ealing this Saturday. Meet 3pm at Blondin Park which is right by Northfields tube station.I know LTNs are mainly an Ealing issue but lots of people in Acton are affected.

I went on the March (and I never do) there were quite a few neighbours from LTN25 though it was a pretty LTN21 focused affaire. We cycled there and pushed our bikes - more of a statement than placards I thought.What was interesting was the support from people we passed: whether delayed motorists, passers-by or shop-keepers. Amazing.Don’t suppose the council cares though.

I for one support the Anti LTN march.I would have gone there if i could actually get near the march.It was of course blocked at Popes Lane,and ofcourse one is not allowed to take any short cuts as they have been blocked.I hve as yet to meet anyone put the case for LTN.

So you think the solution to solving the problem of pollution and congestion in Horn Lane was to divert more traffic that way? Or maybe you just don't care about the people who live there and only car what happens on your road?

Yes Horn Lane was completely empty before LTNs. Ditto Acton High street. I didn't see any traffic until they blocked it all off for socialists on bikes. Sometimes it takes me an extra 5 minutes to get to Sainsburys in my SUV and don't start me on parking outside Waitrose in Chiswick. Im only thinking of the elderly and the emergency services of course though they've gone  mad as well it seems, saying it hasn't effected call out times but what do they know  eh? eh?

They can go block bridges & prevent ambulances attending the sick.Smash up property, oil companies, banks etcGo up Oxford Street with a pink boat, cause congestion & pollution.If they have a minute, focus on the real world & explain how the rest of us go about our lawful everyday business trying to earn a crust
