Saw a new shop front being erected in the large space between Sainsbury’s and the cake shop and turns out it’s going to be another large estate agents. Shame.

You make a reasonable point Mr Foster.Although I do also understand the "meaning" of the other posters.

Shame? Honestly - get a grip. We should be grateful for any business opening up in this climate. Providing jobs and filling an empty unit. I recall someone moaning on here a few months ago about “another coffee shop” opening on the road. It honestly beggars belief.

Somebody - can't recall who - said that there were very many unsold and un-lived in.

Have any of the flats above The Oaks been sold? The building always looks dark and unlived in.

Lots of rich? pickings in Acton with all the empty new build and battery hen conversions (with huge service charges).

They were on the High St until the 1990's - that's who we bought our flat through in 1989! I remember they ran a champagne draw which we won - so perhaps they'll do something similar this time around!

Oh that’s a shame. I thought from the ‘Subject Headline’ that Churchfield Rd was taking on an environmental community development run by one of the local churches, Marsh and Parson 😂

Amazed there's the trade for it.
