Local Councillors - is anybody there?

I've posted before about trying to contact my local councillors and getting no response; one suggestion was try a councillor from a different political party even if they are from another ward. I tried that too, and still no reply.  How do we contact our local respresentatives for help?  At what point is a problem worth escalating (to one's local MP for example) if one is not getting any response at the local level? So frustrating.

We have a great "Democracy."A Ward Councillor can get elected, and then immediately choose to do absolutely nothing but draw their salary and expenses for the next four years, during which they might also display total incompetency.And "The System" ensures that you pay for that "Service" and can do zero about it.Great isn't it.VOTE LOCAL LABOUR and INCOMPETENT & LAZY COUNCILLORS OUT!

The Libdem councillors are really responsive and helpful.Acton Central Labour councillors seem to have gone to ground with a vengeance.Maybe they think the LTN issue and disputes will go away if they ignore them long enough.#RememberTheTram

And THAT is the basic kind of service we should receive from Ward Councillors.It's gone far beyond a sorry state of affairs when a Councillor "off patch" has to offer to help with a problem.The Labour Administration at LBE are a Total Disgrace.                  VOTE LOCAL LABOUR OUT!

You should complain to their Party not about the issue, but about councillors not responding to requests for assistance: info@ealinglabour.com if emails don't work call 020 8992 5614
