Are plastic 4 - 6 Pint milk bottles more easily ruptured these days?

Are the 4 and 6 Pint plastic milk bottles now made with thinner plastic and therefore less robust and prone to leaking?Maybe I'm just unlucky but, without fail, I suffer a leaky 4 Pinter a few times a year.And we all know what fun it is cleaning your fridge out of leaking milk.Anyone else noticed or experienced this?

Perhaps they are trying to reduce their plastic usage and maybe cut costs?
