If the church hall was deemed too small, how are they managing to vaccinate people all over the country in GPs' surgeries? My brother and his wife are getting their jabs in their local surgery (in Warwickshire) this afternoon...Surely in order to reach their targets they need to deal with as many people as possible in every conceivable venue. Sounds like a distinct lack of imagination amongst the health authorities. And London, with its high rates of infection, is apparently amongst the worst areas in the country for numbers of people vaccinated: 31% of over 80s vaccinated as opposed to the NE and Yorks (46%), and the SW of England, where infection rates have been very low, but where they have managed to vaccinate 38% of over 80s (including two of my cousins...) East of England, also very badly hit, has managed only 29% according to today's figures. They certainly don't seem to be prioritising the worst hit areas.
