Handy person

My family and I have been trying to get a handy person to do some bits and pieces for months now; we've tried the various MyBuilder-type websites; done searches for old posts here; tried business cards that we've come across... Sometimes we have been contacted, and sometimes people have even come to have a look at what needs doing but then they never come when promised.  It is frustrating. The jobs are only small, but our house is old and so there is scope for there being future work if we find someone good, fairly-priced and RELIABLE, with their own car or van (as we do not have one and so cannot easily pop to Topps Tiles or Leyland etc to get necessaries).Does anyone have any recommendations?Thanks, we are getting a bit desperate.

Well, that is great. I recomend my husband W3 Handyman and give the wrong telephone number!!! 0780 872 1029 is the correct number!!!  Oeps!!!  Happy Sunday everybody!

Hi,Probably to late, but give Adam Starkey (my husband) a call.  He is the "W3 Handyman". He is local, so can do little jobs without charging the earth, and cheaper than the W4 handyman!  You can reach him on 0780 872 1020 to have a chat and arrange a free and easy quote.  He does garden work, repairs, Sheds,flat packs, shelving,painting & decorating and can supply local references.
