Cheering daytime or evening walk in Acton Central

Some streets have decided to pretty themselves up in LockdownNovember.There's some lovely planting round street trees in Shakespeare, Milton and Myrtle roads, if you fancy a daytime wander.And if you aren't making it to see the Oxford or Regent Street lights this year, why not wander up Goldsmith Avenue?The street WhatsApp group has come into its own and many houses are decorated with white lights to brighten us up. Three cheers for Claire for organising. It does look beautiful and makes for a pleasant stroll.

Yes, it's been great to see people taking the initiative and lighting up their streets. We have done the same in Chaucer Road.My question about the council lights has been also answered by the council finally getting round to it. I think the importance this year is to make the streets a place people want to go so that the local traders will benefit from people being out and about. Let's all do some local shopping out there.
