Horn Lane buses

Does anyone know what TfL is doing with the buses in Horn Lane and West Acton? Last Monday I was collected by a 218 at Faraday Road going to Steyne Road where he inconveniently dropped me. He told me the 440 had been diverted to West Acton. This morning around 11:30am I was collected at Faraday Road by a 218 going to Hammersmith. The driver could not explain why he was on that route. Yesterday at 3pm the 266 on the indicator at Acton Town Hall for Brent Cross (the first collection point) went off first bus and reappeared down the list. Tuesday 1pm three 266 were stacked up in Winchester Street and the third left first. Today, around 12:20 in the afternoon, the 266 was 1 minute for five or ten minutes at Steyne Road to Brent Cross, the second stop.I asked TfL why they have not told Actonw3.com. if there are diversions.

Thank you for the information. Someone told me the diversions are due to roadworks in Twyford Avenue. Re-routing the 218 to Hammersmith can't be much use to public transport users in West Acton.

266 runs normally though is very irregular because of traffic issues caused by road closures/road work.440 does not go down the High Street but is on a diversion via Acton Town on its way to Chiswick because of road closure.218 was/is diverted and going up/down Horn Lane. Not sure about the current situation
