Are we getting a cinema in Acton

It seems only fair to say that other local Councillors have given advice and are privately delighted that the long awaited cinema is becoming a reality. Because of their roles overseeing Planning or Finance they may not support this venture in case questions are asked later. We understand their positions and would do the same ourselves.

Public consultation on the planning application closed on Friday. Almost 500 supporters including letters from six Councillors across the political divide,the Mosque outreach,four Christian Ministers,three Resident Associations, the Central Acton Neighbourhood Forum, the Acton BiD representing 500 local businesse, Rupa Huq MP, and many many local residents. We are so very grateful to everyone. Thank you all very much. It usually takes about two weeks for the Planners to make their decision. Hoping for the best. Others are more closely involved with the project than me but as far as I am aware the application has been submitted and awaits approval from the council.
