This morning on Jeremy Vine he was demonstrating how to make something that turned out to be hummus made with cannellini beans (gosh!) which anybody can make.  When asked what Tahini was or what it was made of he didn't know.Aren't we so very fortunate to have a man with such a wealth of culinary knowledge on our screens.  Amazing!

Oh glory, cant remember his first name - surname Nathan and he is my father's first cousin's son. Not sure what relative that makes me. but not a close one...Aha - James - 2008...

AFAIK he was a Greengrocer and then expanded and became a Company Director. He has zero cooking, let alone Chef Qualifications, which may explain a lot.How he ended up judging people who can actually cook, and know their stuff, does seem very odd. 😏
