PERRYN RD, SHAA RD + SURROUNDING RESIDENTS

If you are a resident on these roads you'll remember Mr Parry's unsuccessful appeal to demolish no.10&12 Perryn Road to build 9 flats. The neighbourhood rallied together and a 115 objections were lodged and his appeal was rejected.It seems that he has submitted a new application (essentially one flat less) on the 7th May which has flown under our radar, when we have all been occupied with social distancing and keeping safe. Coincidence?The proposed development involves a substantial basement conversion which will cause unbearable noise and nuisance for neighbours. It will see the demolition of two Victorian villas that are so characterful of the area. The addition of 8 new households to the site will have negative consequences to privacy, traffic levels and noise levels to an area which has already seen over development.It is believed that the same developer owns the allotments behind no.10 & 12 and it is clear from the plans that an 'access road' will be created which could provide access from Perryn Road for future development.Please visit Ealing Planning website to make your voice heard. Just reminding residentliving on Shaa Perryn and East Churchfield Road that they might want to take note of Mr. Parry's plans for their neighbourhood.effectively if there arent sufficient objections? two housrs will be demolished and access granted to the land behind Shaa Road. Its tiresome to have to keep objectingbut that is currently the way the syatem operates. It seems to be taking the Council a long time to get those yellow notices up on the lampposts.  The methods of the past in informing neighbours no longer seem to apply - or be adhered to.

Everyone knows the famous Mr. Parry owns the allotments and this is by no means the first planning application.  The long suffering residents onf Shaa and Perryn road must object again to plans out of keeping with their area  .
