North Acton Pinch Point Station

Just caught up with this item about how crowded North Acton station can get at the moment. Worth looking at if you were thinking of starting to use public transport again. The message is pretty clear — don't.

The photo may exaggerate the extent of the overcrowding to a degree but if you talk to someone forced to use the station they will tell you there is an issue. With ASLEF now saying that there should only be ten people per carriage, overcrowding might not be a problem any more but getting to work will be.

'Social distancing' photos taken on the end of a telephoto lens, like this one clearly was from looking at the train doors, should not be trusted.
