Sodastream Cylinders

Does anyone know if any open shops (eg supermarkets) supply and exchange Sodastream cylinders?  I used to do mine at Robert Dyas but of course they are all closed.

I prefer sparkling water to still, but hate single use plastic, so have recently got a sodastream. Ordering a spare canister from them was a complete nightmare as they lost it. But we now have two.Would love to do refills locally. But is Argos in Sainsbury the only place at the moment?

Lovely to hear.  I've promoted their use in the past - but since I don't like fizz (even champagne) I've often wondered.  A good idea to give one as a gift!Just about a week ago someone was moaning about having to shop without her partner and not being able to lift the water into the trolley - so if it was fizzy - here's the answer and if it was flat - I just don't know why you bother as we are so lucky to have the tap water here in the UK that we do.  (I spent my childhood living in countries where the water had to be boiled, cooled and filtered - and in at least one place delivered by tanker before all that.) We've been getting them from Amazon. But when possible I will recycle the canisters.As for what people are fizzing? I gave the soda stream to my son to encourage him to drink more water, flavoured with cordials, but as an experimental teenager he has tried fizzing everything from milk to coffee.

I use mine only to carbonate my drinking water, for me the bubbles give the water a "flavour".I also recall Jamie Oliver (I think it was him? Or maybe Ramsey.) carbonated some decent white wine and the result was virtually indistinguishable from Champers/Cava/Prosecco.Allegedly.  😨

Lakeland are the cheapest and no idea if they are open currently.Nearest I think is Brent Cross?

Thank you Judi - I did not know about that and will definitely try it. Otherwise, I think Argos in Sainsbury Chiswick is still open and they do replacements as well.
