Parasites - LBE

Driving around Acton yesterday I saw quite a few cars with clamps. I realised that these parasites known as Civil Enforcement Officers or Bailiffs are preying on people working from home. Fine clamp away under usual circumstance, but not when there is a state of emergency, when people may need their cars to get supplies or take care of emergencies. People are trying to hold on to their money to feed their families. Julian Bell and the London Borough of Ealing should be utterly ashamed. When this is all over these people should be ousted out of power. I will never vote for Labour again. While Boris is trying to do everything he can to help, LBE is taking advantage. Useless and evil parasites - they should be utterly ashamed.

Further to my note about Councillors, I'm happy to report that Officers are attending a shop in the South Acton ward reported for various unhelpful activities. As far as I can see, they are all doing their best in difficult circumstances. Friary Park apart, could be have a temporary hush on doom and disaster posts? It's not good to be always finding fault.

Susan, I can't remember exactly, but I think there are different resident parking permit scales with the council: all day parking, certain hours of the day, etc.  May be that some now working from home have the permit for certain hours of the day, haven't realised, and unfortunately, been ticketed and clamped.  Just a thought.

The rot started around 30 or so years ago, this country is gradually losing its sole, IMHO.We now have a fast growing section of society that is "Entitled".At the expense of everyone else.

It would be helpful if Councillors took responsibility for checking reports of profiteering. There are increasing numbers on line. A visit from a Councillor & a report to Trading Standards will go some way to keeping opportunists in check. Big fines. Someone suggested stores might think of tying up supermarket trollys or closing car parks. Hard on people with large families though. Still if people can only buy what they can carry it should reduce stockpiling of essentials. I heard a sad story of a mum who couldnt find any baby formula and another who was unable to find nappies.

It can't be confirmed yet but LBE parking services might not use clamps on vehicles in the borough.It is likely to be the DVLA tracking down those who haven't paid their road tax. State parasites? It might also be for cars that don't have insurance to use the roads.

Any half decent and supposedly caring Lefty Council would have declared an amnesty on certain parking restrictions by now.To me, anyway, it just unfortunately reconfirms everything about BellEnd & Co that you need to know.Again, "Thank you" to all who voted for him and his party locally. The fine or parking ticket may have not been issued at the home address. The point is LBE should not be clamping cars at the moment due to the extraordinary circumstances. Opportunists even at these moments. On Churchfield Road -  I have seen more traffic wardens than usual. People could be getting supplies or doing other essential things and they come back to find their cars clamped. It's disgusting.

Are you sure it's the council and not DVLA (no road tax)?This site and I have just tweeted on the issue. It would be good to know for sure though if it is the LBE council.
