Where have all the stamps gone?????

I went into the Post Office in Horn Lane today and asked for a book of 12 2nd class stamps.  I was informed that they had book of stamps available.The assistant then searched around but all she could find was 2 2nd class stamps! Apparently they are waiting for a delivery which might arrive sometime next week! Unbelievable!Now I know there has been a run on toilet rolls, pasta, baked beans and so on, but POSTAGE STAMPS???

I buy my stamps in bulk direct from Royal Mail, thus securing the price.

Thanks for the information. My friend said I might be able to buy some from the supermarket.It seems people are stocking up on all sorts!

Sold out because the price is about to increase?  When they are only marked 1st and 2nd you get a good deal if you paid the old price and you are using them after the price change.
