Gas works - damage

I live on Perryn Road where before Christmas extensive gas works were carried out.  We have subsequently noticed a load of new cracks in our walls (newly decorated!) and our neighbours in the flats upstairs have also noticed new cracks.  It seems they potentially hit the foundations of our property with their drilling. Has anyone else noticed damage to their properties as the gas company are trying to not accept any blame.

They'll obviously resist at first but stick to your guns with dates, timelines & photos and they'll know you mean business and eventually capitulate. It's always about how tenacious you are, and of course you shouldn't need to be.AFAIK they're bound to have insurance to cover this sort of damage anyway plus you'll probably find the "Which" website very helpful on how to frame your Claim/Complaint.
