My understanding is that they won't open a stand alone post office - only one within an already opened store. Prior to the refurb, would have been great had they opened in Morrison's. Will the old post office/new flats have a retail unit downstairs? Be great to have it back there again. If Londis had the room - that would be a great spot. Problem with both the Horn Lane branch and the branch in The Vale is parking - for various people. As many have said previously, great spots on the High Street - already set up as were previously banks, so all the bits - counters, safe, etc - already in place. Many empty units on Churchfield Road - be great to fill them up with a small post office.
