We have a Morrison’s, Iceland, Lidl, Sainsbury’s, no M and S coming why would we need a Tesco?

As there are still empty units in the Oaks, can Acton take anymore multiples?

Besides installing however many flats inside the existing building, with another floor built on top, the planning permission for this site refers to the 'amalgamation of the ground floor retail units to provide one retail unit' - so it could be a Tesco?

Well, I didn't say the builder was a reliable source of information. Personally I think it is unlikely as there is a Tesco quite nearby on The Vale. That whole space is shrouded in mystery. They don't appear to be demolishing, more like a re-fit.

Planning consent was given on the understanding the ground floor would be 'commercial' and the upper floors residential. Acton arts project would love to approach the freeholders for a donation to the High Street. Anyone have a contact with these Developers? We have nearly made our target. £2.00 the minimum pledge. Not much time left. Go Acton!
