Pots/Urns

7 years ago 21 pots were located around Acton, one was located by the oak tree mural (on the building next to Windmill Pub). This building is now being redeveloped and the 'valuable' pot is still hanging there - will it end up in the skip? It would indeed be great to put Acton further on the 'destination' map. Thank you Clair for listing the ones you found - I will take a walk around Acton and seek them out.

Also one on the High St side of the Barcalys, another next to the fruit and veg shop on Market St and one above the Grove Rd door to the Windmill pub.

I know where a few of those pots are, one on the side wall of the college next to Barclays bank, one on front of the West London Trade Union Club and another on a wall of the Oaktree Christian Centre (old fire station).

I'm turning into such a old fart/geek/busy body, I spotted some activity at the building on the high street this morning, so I went up to the builders and asked what will happen to the one pot you were referring to. One of the guys said they're going to keep it. Apparently it's going to be the usual, regarding the building refurb: flats, additional level, shops on ground floor.

I've been wondering for years what that pot what for! I've spotted the project on his website. Apparently there were supposed to be 12 pots around the high street. Some of them have already been removed. It's worth a wander around the street to try and find the remaining ones. :)
