TFL have taken out the westbound A40 left lane for a couple of months while they block Park View, Court Way, and Allan Way and extend the famous cycle super-highway. They have closed the pavement between Leamington Park and Gypsy Corner and are about to change the layout just west of Gypsy Corner.
Only residents in the roads to be blocked were consulted, although I did receive notification because my house is on the opposite side of the A40.
