Shams Fish Bar!! Bbc1 tonight

I haven’t lived in west London now for more than 5 years (now on the south coast) but watching bbc1 tonight The Capture  I suddenly saw a location I thought was Acton! Ironically it’s about cctv. I did a google search and I was right!! Not sure if it’s always been Shams but nice to know it’s still a chippie!! (When I did home deliveries I would often park outside for 2 mins and nip in for chips)

Remember them filming there, and also on the corner of Horn Lane/Churchfield Road, as turned onto Horn Lane - straight into the camera crew!  Also saw the lead actress Holliday Grainger wandering through Acton Market, as recognised her from the Richard Madden re-make of Lady Chatterley's Lover.

I remember when a door at the bottom of Newburgh Road was the door to the drinking club in The Minder...Watching Brit.TV now I'm in Toronto I often think I see Acton locations!

The BBC loves to film in Boston Manor Park.Jolly interesting drama, by the way. I'm gripped.

Not forgetting looking for a victim's body in the River Brent under the M4 in Boston Manor Park - a favourite location for gritty dramas as well as pop concerts!

Where he confronted his brief and was told he could no longer represent him . I think they filmed also across the road at the gated flats
