Our local mp thinks marks are still going to open

As the COO or CEO of M&S wrote to her saying M&S were definitely going to open not very long ago, it's not unreasonable for our MP to believe he might have been telling the truth (though I know that's not a popular thing to do at the moment)

"Superdrug is the latest shop to open in the new Oaks outlet, joining popular stores such as Iceland and Wilko, as well as others to follow although not necessarily Marks and Spencers as we originally stated."To me that reads that M&S aren't coming to the Oaks. They've added "necessarily" to make it sound like she wasn't wrong - after all MPs are never wrong are they? ;-)

The Official Oaks Acton Site has still  not updated their page as they still list M & S for their marketing purposes.Anchored by M&S, Simply Food, Lidl and Wilko. The Retail space runs over lower ground, ground and first floors, with The Gym on the first floor.

It's quite clear that the M & S mention is an editorial comment, not sure how it could be misconstrued as attributable to Rupa?

Looks more like a statement from the editor than a quote from the MP.
