How sad that there is absolutely nothing on the front page about the wonderful street art now gracing the corner of Churchfield and Myrtle Road. Come on 'ed, get a move on.

Agree it's beautiful and calming, a wonderful artist.

There is a large Japanese school in Acton, so that is some kind of link. I think it is mainly that the artist Fin DAC chooses to paint in that style. I think it looks great and would love to see something like that in the High Street too.

I think they missed a trick not having oak trees in the background with a woman hanging out washing ;-)

Good question, I wondered that.

Attractive as it might be, what connection does this image have with the history of Acton and its communities?

Thank you, but that was the original post about the project. Now the first mural is up on the corner of Myrtle and Churchfield Road and looking absolutely stunning, you would have thought it might warrant something on the front page.
