Old Oak Common Overground Station

The item published on this site about the West London Orbital route plan raises more questions than it answers. Most importantly it was just last week that we were informed that the Old Oak Common Overground station was unlikely to ever be built because of funding constraints.Now TfL and Ealing Council are claiming progress on the orbital line plan but it would be completely pointless if there was no station at Old Oak Common and no link to Crossrail/HS2. This seems to be them just writing their Christmas card list rather than an actual plan as funding just isn't available for this project and isn't likely to be even if we don't wilfully crash our economy to leave the EU.

The last I heard was that the Old Oak Common Road station, if built, may be re-named Victoria Road, location undecided. This could be because of the suggested new orbital route via Dollis Hill, which may also include a new high level station near the current Harlesden station. The Hythe Road station is unlikely to happen.

The proposal to close Churchfield Road and Bollo Lane were in the proposal.I provided a link and quotes from it at the time.

Is the idea that the Churchfield Road crossing will be close something that has been officially advocated or speculation?

There's loads of things "They" hide and don't tell us.No wonder people are more than fed up with our current corrupt setup, and groups like Momentum on the Far Left and The Far Right are growing apace.

They don't mention the idea they have of permanently closing the level crossing on churchfield Road because there will be constant trains going through. This would be a disaster for the shops. Let's hope this train line never happens.
