How to Vote in the EU Election?

I can't really get my head around how this works.All I want to achieve is that I want to deliver the clearest message possible about my desire that we stay in the EU. Not interested in individual candidates. How should I cast my vote in the London region?It is going to be difficult to get this message across as there the Brexit party looks set to top the poll even in London because it is the single option for a person looking to send the opposite message whereas there are at least three parties that unambiguously support remaining. Ironically this is the opposite of the real world where there are many competing options for Brexit (none of which the Brexit party seem willing to commit to) and essentially only one version of Remain.

Not sure what the Brexit Party's official stance is but Nigel Farage (who seems to effectively be the Brexit party) claims most people want to leave the EU with no deal. This isn't true - the polls suggest that the percentage of people who say they want this is in the high twenties. Thankfully the majority of the British people see that this no deal rhetoric is impractical nonsense and that Farage is trying to pretend that a complex situation is very simple. It does sadden me that such a significant proportion of the British population would wish for an outcome that would cause such misery and hardship to the country.

You may say that you may not want the world to burn but that is what is likely to happen. The major flaw in your argument that the size of the UK banking industry's exposure to over-extended countries in the EU is the largest for any country. The City of London remains the main market for EU countries to fund their deficits and leaving the EU may reduce the UK's role in this but it won't end it.The idea that it could somehow be a good idea to precipitate a financial crisis in the EU is one that profoundly misunderstands how we fit together with the rest of Europe. The first crisis that would result in the event of no deal would be in the UK rather than the rest of Europe as the currency would fall. If you take City projections you are looking at a 10-15% drop which would be stemmed only by a significant rise in interest rates. As our entire banking system is run on the assumption that low interest rates support an inflated property market the resulting financial squeeze will be far worse than in 2008/9. It is for this reason that parliament and every sane politician has ruled no deal out as an option. As far as I am aware the Brexit Party are not actually advocating it either.

Well, to balance matters out, I will be sending the clearest message possible to leave. You know, what was decided in a Referendum, not a Neverendem.    :-)No more fannying around and wasting time - No Deal, just leave, The EU will soil their pants.Then watch from the sidelines as you witness The EU implode under the Greek, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese debt. Which everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten.  :-)

There is a twitter (and maybe accessible elsewhere) site called @RemainVoter which is planning on advising on exactly that.I think the answer in our area is vote LibDem, but I would follow RemainVoter post- local elections and see what it advises.https://www.remainvoter.comwould appreciate help, support and donations to make them effective I would think.

Same. I think we probably need to wait until the candidates list is finalised (about a week?) before planning a strategy.
