This is the LBF's account:"Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were called to a fire at a flat on Park Road East in Acton.Part of a five roomed flat on the seventh floor of the 13 floored building was alight.Around 40 people evacuated the building before the Brigade arrived.When firefighters arrived on scene the fire was very visible with flames coming from the balcony of the flat. The Brigade’s 999 Control centre received 15 calls alerting them to the blaze. The Brigade was called at 1940 and was under control by 2029. Fire crews from Acton, Chiswick, Ealing, Hammersmith and surrounding fire stations were at the scene.The cause of the fire is under investigation."
