I agree with ActOn computers on the High Street. I spilled a cup of coffee on my laptop. Took out the battery, mopped up as much as I could with a dry cloth, used a hairdryer to dry out any residue and left the laptop upside down in a 'V' shape over a chair overnight (got all this info online) - tried it the next day and all working as it was!
