Fed up with our road  been dug up 4 times in 5 months

How many times can this happen .We had our dug up so many times  British gas, then BT, SSE, virgin. And now another notice loss of 6 parking spaces for a week mind doesn't say which company only utility company aghhh.

Perhaps your Councillors could get an explanation of why the road has to be dug up so often.I find it irritating that South Ealing Road appears to be constantly dug up so that pipes can be patched. Records are kept of the works so it shouldn't be difficult.  At some point someone has to say that the disruption and pollution caused is costing all of us too much and isn't worth the temporary measures.

I understood that it was quite costly for the utilities companies nowadays to dig up the road because of the bureaucracy required of them.  (I don't mean that some if not all of it isn't necessary.)  All those cones and traffic lights etc.  I suppose if there is a problem then it has to be dealt with urgently but with planned maintenance...
