You can also report through "My Account" on the LBE website.  I think this is easier than the Report A Missed Collection pages.  There has been and looks like there still is a computer problem with those last pages.  See here:https://www.ealing.gov.uk/info/201167/rubbish_and_recycling/2016/report_a_missed_rubbish_or_recycling_collectionand then when you click on the link:Reporting a Missed Collection:"When reporting a missed collection, the council will check our contractor’s live systems to determine if you are able to make a report.Your report can only be submitted if the system confirms the following:That either your rubbish or recycling was presented at the time of collection. All waste should be placed at the front boundary of your property or the agreed collection point by 7am.Your wheelie bins were not overfilled and there were no incorrect items placed in your bin. Rubbish that is not inside a black wheelie bin will not be collected. That the collection crews have already visited your road. Some collections take place later in the day. That you are reporting a missed collection by 1pm the day after your scheduled collection. Missed collections reported by this time will be collected the working day after they were missed. That you have not already reported the missed collection. If you think any of the information presented in the form is incorrect, please contact 020 8825 6000.Please look up your collection schedule if you are not sure when your waste should be collected.Amey manage all rubbish and recycling services on behalf of the council. In order to deliver an effective service, your details may need to be shared with Amey."The reporting of the missed collection before 1pm the day after collection is the bit I don't understand the reason for and which I think many could fall foul of. It is easy to be out all day and come back after dark... after all - lots of people do still go out to work! The wheelies are not supposed to be left out on the street and yet you can't be sure when and if they will be collected. It's sod's law that if you bring them in they will come to collect but leave them out and some idiot is bound to add some litter...If you don't do it in this timescale for the fortnightly collections then you can expect to have to wait for the next fortnightly collection. The great thing about the FOOD WASTE BIN is that it is a WEEKLY collection.I'm sure that it is only because people have also contacted their Councillors that the message about the problems with reporting online have been flagged.
