Has anyone been? Lovely facilities, but when i went today to use the pool it was carnage, out of control kids everywhere.  Felt bad for some of the staff.  Can't see how anyone would want to pay £145 per month with the craziness i saw today.  Hopefully it will get better but i can't see it...

My family was members of the Park Club for many years and felt by the end a change was due though my wife loved attending several classes.Recent attendances to the new DL Acton by my wife and myself been very good so far but we only go during weekdays since weekends with sunshine and families will clearly be more crowded. My wife's feedback is the classes are largely a great improvement - I only use the gym and while a new layout the equipment is very good standard overall.I suspect the key problem will be adequate parking (if not realised the prior owners of Park Club still use part of the site for Child's Fitness Centre and parking I think).It also seems any complaints DL members have are being handled and actioned promptly by management, so maybe issues on swimming pool users should be reported?

Today was fairly quiet, did a yoga class in a beautiful studio. I am not really interested in the restaurant and hanging out so cannot comment on that but pleased with the classes so far.

We've been too busy to go but are members and plan to go this week.  Disappointing news, if it's carnage!  I think that will die down, surely.

I had a swim on Thursday evening and there were a couple of obnoxious teens jumping in over the lane swimmers. I just swam through them. Today the place was mobbed, as you would expect on a sunny week end day. I just went in did an excellent body-pump class ( even the sound levels were good rather than deafening) and left. I loved the convenience of the closeness to my house an a studio that wasn't ram packed with exercisers, leaving room to actually work out without fear of being knocked out.If you want a serious lane swim best chose a bad weather day and keep pressing them to build the promised 50m pool.

I was a member of the old one before it got too shabby, but I never really got the impression it was a serious gym. I felt it was a bit of a "country club" for people to hang out with their families rather than take fitness seriously. Sounds like they've kept the same idea.
