Protecting the enviroment and TPO Trees in the grounds of a locally listed building
Next door to me is Peacehaven a locally listed Building on the Springbridge Park Estate in Acton. The whole site is covered by a TPO Order. The Isreali Offshore owners obtained Planning premission in 2015. Part of the planning permission was that the owners where tasked to protect the retained trees to the rear of the site. Ealing Council Planners have chosen not to act to protect the Trees but has allowed the builder to cut down 13 trees and replace with 1 only contrevening Condition 9. The Planning Committee on the night of 14 July 2015 stated and included the following condition "For every tree Felled a replacement Tree will be planted" Ealing Officers in December ignored my concerns like other locals who wrote about their concerns... The Tree Officer rubbished this. Now 6 months later 1 of the many health trees a Yew Tree (not many in Acton) is now Yellowing and looks if it is dying off. Ealing Council have the Legal mechanism to take Enforcement Action but chooses not to prosecute this vandalism. Shame on them this is not good planning and what resident want in Acton!!
