Yet another pub of character and long history bites the dust. I take it there is no protection status on the building. I would of thought it could of done quite well in such a high student area if someone could of took it on.  Sadly Ealing council have got their grubby hands on it

With the rumoured 20 floor limit because of "Power Grid Deprivation" they may have a problem?Our Council just don't give a toss do they .......

The "Cycle Stands" farcical requirement always makes me laugh, has anyone noticed how many actually get used?

So are there reduced areas, standards and regulations etc for student accommodation?  Fewer affordable flats/flats ratio required?  Then when approved what happens if there aren't enough students?  Putting in cycle stands doesn't mean that students won't have cars.  Do they have to sign up to not bringing a car into London as students have to at colleges in Oxford?

The problem is that People voted to re-elect the Labour Ward Councillors. Hopeless they will not stand up to the planners... Ghetto are the way forward squeeze them in and pact them High a 1960's failed policy. Didn't work then and they are knock a lot of them down waste of money just look at night "no lights on".

This Towers Madness at North Acton has to STOP - it's a ghetto of the future.And they're just itching to hop over the Western Avenue and infect the rest of Acton.
