NO RECYLCLING COLLECTION ON WEDNESDAY

Ealing council really are rubbish (pardon the pun_.  They  did not collect on Wednesday 23/05/2018. Trying to report it online is almost impossible.  Then eventually calling the 6000 number it's all automated.  The told I could not report it they need to be reported by 1:00 on the day after!!!! So because I did not do this I can not report it and it wont be collected until next week - absolute disgraceful service.

The trouble is that you don't know whether to leave it out for extra time or not!  I always feel that any bins left out are an increased risk.

They actually came the day after and collected it so just about redeemed themselves!

Ah I see from your other post that it was one of the fortnightly collections that wasn't collected.  If you have a very full bin then that will be a problem.  It is bad enough when it is is only half full because it might be you the next time who misses the collection for whatever reason - holiday, sick etc.You can see why it is worthwhile making friends with your neighbours just in case they have more space and you can return the favour sometime - and making sure that you know where the nearest street recycling banks are to help reduce the amount.Have you squashed all cans and plastic bottles and flattened all cardboard?  I wouldn't recommend putting a child in to jump up and down although I've heard it can work on this website!

Is that the weekly food waste recycling?  It seems that there was a problem all over.  Is it whole roads or is it missing the occasional or more than just the occasional?I left the FWB all day and then night and then of course it was past 1pm.  There are warning on the website that it isn't working properly...  or the messages aren't being picked up.
