Planning: ex-HSBC on High St - 181370FUL

... later ...new application in to go for full cafe/restaurant rather than sandwich bar for ground floor.They say that they have not been able to find someone to take it as sandwich bar so need to go for something that can have a kitchen (noisier and smellier than a sandwich bar for near neighbours behind and above hence different class).

Here is what their document says:"The ground floor is currently vacant and was last in use as a Bank (Use Class A2). The Council haveconfirmed that this could lawfully be used for an A1 use including a coffee/sandwich bar."and"An application for a Lawful Development Certificate has recently been granted confirming that thepremises could lawfully be used for anything within class A1 including coffee/sandwich bars (Ref:177577CPL)."So - could be any A1 use I suppose but that is the only one that they speculated.

A sandwich bar - seriously?  How much more food do people need??!  The entire high street is made up of food shops, estate agents, and that's pretty much it!  Reading the front page, no-one is buying all these flats being built, yet they build more and more and more, and get rid of a post office that people need, and no shops of the Boots, WHSmith, Primark, etc are being built - more food!  I honestly believe Ealing council hates Acton, and invests everything in Ealing itself - and it shows. Acton looks like the poor relative in comparison - nothing here.  Total wasteland of food, estate agents, food, estate agents, food, estate agents, food. Sorry for the rant, but thoroughly fed up.
