You could also try some of the large Chinese supermarkets around Hanger Lane or the one next to Sainsburys in Alperton. They do sell Thai ingredients as well but also great fish selections

I LOVE Thai Smile. The 266 will drop you a few minutes walk away.Call them to enquire ahead, I often do and they are most helpful. Do have a look at their immense frozen section while you're there.Pick up a packet of bean sprouts, so tasty. They also supply to many restaurants in the area, it shows when you use the ingredients at home.

Just seen the typos in my last post, haha.These Arabic supermarkets may sell small aubergines but they won't be Thai.Do let me know if and where you eventually got them.

Quite hard to get if you mean the little pea ones.You could try the Thai shop on Chiswick High Road or, best bet, the Thai shop at the bottom of Chepstow Road.There was a little shop I Kenway Road (Earl'e Court) but Gawd knbows if it's still there.Tried online?

Don't know about Acton but Cudi on The Broadway in West Ealing has the most amazing number of different vegetables and fruit.  I seem to remember that they had very long opening hours.
