Has anyone had problems with Everest Double Glazed Windows?

They always start at a very high price, just trying it on and some people pay it, my neighbour used Zenith another one to avoid, they quoted me £4,000.00 for a front door, then reduced it to £1,200.00 it puts people off straight away.

See if you can get some compensation John. It might make up for whatever they overcharged you.Isn't it awful, you just want to get something done, pay a lot and they make a right mess of it. My condolences.

Hi Sarah,yes it by mistakes you learn,i thought they were top of thr range,a costly mistake,but thet were torn to pieces by me,and it will all be put right to my satisfaction soi they say,thank for your concern,regards John.

Oh gosh, you used them.  I thought you were asking for others' opinions and advice.Sorry you've had these problems but I'm not at all surprised.

I would never use Everest again,bad installation crew,windows glazing fitted wrong way round,they are rectifing defects,a very costly exercise and lession learned,very expensive venture from the start,mislead by sales rep in the first placeaqnd as i said never again.so be warned!!!!!!!

True but you have to think of the guarantee as well and many smaller companies go out of business, Anglian have very good after sales service.

Yes but smaller companies are cheaper than those big two. And possibly do a better job.

Everest Double glazing.where does one start,I asked for an estimate last year.To get the front and first floor sash windows done.Starred out at £93000 when he saw the shocked look on my Wife's and my face the salesman said" as they are 50 years old "it's 50% discount and we can make it £46500 and started filling out a form.Assumed close.Brilliant.I said it's not going to happen...........now the revised quote is £16500 We still haven't had them done.I am waiting for them to come down a bit.Wgere is 'That's Life' when you need them?

I would never use them.  Their quote was 4 times the price of the company I eventually used. They would not accommodate my special requirements either.Then I got phone calls and discounts for months afterwards.
