Churchfield Rd late opening November 30th

CANForum and the traders on Churchfield Rd have joined together and organised a late night opening on November 30th. Nibbles,gifts and sips will be available for you to enjoy and buy. Probably would have been more people in the area and not necessarily paying as much attention to where they put their feet as they looked for hot drinks/food or whatever.

As Maire has said we couldn't be sure the pavements would be safe for pedestrians. The good news is that The Village Trading Store, Otto, Park and Bridge, TaylorMade and Bake Me will still be open a little later offering seasonal gifts and tasty nibbles

Im sorry to say that although we got insurance for £5 million and Father christmas agreed to attend, the Council could not guarantee there would not be an unlit trench on the road on that evening. We felt that to lose someone into a hole in the road would be too sad. So, no Christmas market this year. We will organise a late night opening in the Spring, which is when the Council think they will be finished with the pavement.
