Quinces wanted

Is there anybody with unwanted quinces?  I would be delighted to collect.

I was at Acton Market today around noon and Tito, the man who sells fruit and veg has the most lovely quinces. They are from Chile and although I have not cooked them yet, their wonderful fragrance they has filled my house, so I would imagine they are very flavourful.I make quince jelly, poached quince cake and preserve them in spice. At £1 per bowl of 4 you can't go wrong!

Hakikat on the High Street often have quinces - should the local Acton home-grown harvest fail you.

Had a look atr trees and agree with Claire, they are def. not quinces!

Those are definitely not quinces. I think they might be crab apples, but can't be sure. Quinces look like pears and are much larger than whatever is on those trees.

Chiswick quinces gone as far as I know.  Sara, where about on Goldsmith Av.? Never notice them!

Two trees' full on Goldsmith Avenue - come and help yourself.At least, I was told they were quinces - I've no idea.
