Two Weeks of 'Anticipation' at SET Ealing
Artists working in a range of disciplines will be displaying their work

Anticipation, a new exhibition is opening at SET Ealing this Thursday (13 February).
Over two weeks, the concept of Anticipation will be explored through displays of art work and a series of dedicated workshops, panels, and participatory performances.
It is the centre’s inaugural exhibition presented in collaboration with Synonym Lab and KNST Collective and delves into the delicate balance between presence and change, focusing on the emotional dynamics of looking forward while staying grounded in the present. It invites artists to reflect on the human experience of transition, intuition, and the excitement of new beginnings, highlighting the tension between uncertainty and the known.
Visitors can expect a diverse array of artistic expressions, including drawing, prints, performance/live art, installation, sculpture, mixed media, multi-disciplinary works, and painting.
The exhibition features artists such as Agatha Hambi, Kyra Zhang, Nick Macneil, Nathalie Samen, Meichen Chen, Kelly Frank, Karolina Dworska, Jasper Stinchcombe, Isabella Morales, Holly Allan, Ekaterina Belukhina, Danlu Peng, Ceri-Anne Gibbins, Caterina Danzico, and Andy Williams.
In addition to the exhibition, several interactive events are planned. On February 22 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, a Still Life Workshop will be held, offering participants an immersive experience within the "Anticipation" exhibition. This session encourages attendees to create art inspired by the surrounding installations.
The exhibition will conclude on 27 February with a high-energy Junk Percussion workshop led by Carl Smith, co-founder of STOMP. Participants will explore rhythm using everyday objects, turning ordinary items into instruments in an interactive setting.
SET Ealing, established in April 2022, is a creative hub located at 105-113 Broadway, London, W13 9BE. The facility boasts 37 studios, a spacious project space on the high street, and a newly opened community area.
