Ealing Art Group Exhibits at Hanwell's Clocktower Café
The group's work is on the theme 'Winter into Spring'

There is a chance to grab a cup of coffee while you view the work of the Ealing Art Group in Hanwell.
Pieces by members of the group on the theme of “Winter into Spring” are on display at the Clocktower Care (151 Uxbridge Road, W7 3SP).
The café is open from 8am to 5pm each day and the exhibition runs until 10 March.
The Ealing Art Group is one of the oldest groups of artists in England having held its first meeting on 15 November 1910. It has since held an exhibition every year apart from the first two years of the Second World War and the year 2020 due to the Covid pandemic.
Its President during the late 1940s was Gilbert Bayes, the sculptor whose design for Selfridges clock nicknamed "the Queen of Time" is a London landmark
It claims a lively and active membership and its aim has always been to encourage art in all its forms and those who practise it or simply enjoy it. Annual exhibitions have taken place all over Ealing from local churches to the Town Hall, Pitzhanger Manor Gallery and recently Gunnersbury Park Museum. An average of 30 painters and craft artist take part.
In recent years, its undertaken three joint art exhibitions with Ealing’s twin town Marcq-en-Baroeul in France.
Membership has always covered all levels of ability, from hobby painters to professionals and has included some distinguished names.
