The next meeting of The Arts Society Ealing will be a talk on the subject of ‘The History of the City of London Told Through Its Stained Glass’ given by Anna Warrillow
This lecture covers almost 2000 years of London's history illustrated through the stained glass windows in its churches, halls and civic buildings.
The lecturer has been a Blue Badge guide since 2013 and established her own guiding company Canvas and Stone Tours in 2018. She worked as a curator in the Sculpture Department at the Victoria & Albert Museum as well as in the Henry Moore Family Trust. She lectures at the American International University in London and other academic institutions. She provides training courses and Continual Professional Development courses for students and guide members of the Institute of Tourist Guides.
The talk takes place at 7:30pm on Monday 25 September at St Barnabas Church Hall, Pitshanger Lane, Ealing W5 1QG.

The Arts Society Ealing belongs to the large umbrella organisation, The Arts Society, previously known as the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS), which was founded in 1968. The local Society, which has a membership of around 140, is now one of the 388 member societies of The Arts Society that have been formed throughout the United Kingdom, in parts of Europe and in Australia and New Zealand.
