Each year the Club Captain at Ealing Golf Club chooses a charity close to their heart to raise funds for during their annual term.

The captain for 2022 was Ranjan Sriskandan and he elected to support Meadow House Hospice which provides care for people living in the boroughs of Ealing and Hounslow, as they approach the end of their life.

Over the year, he held a Charity Golf Day and auction, which, along with raffles held throughout the year, raised £10,900.

In addition, four club members ran the Ealing Half Marathon separately raising over £4,000 which also went to Meadow House bringing the total to over £15,000.

Ranjan said, ‘Many Ealing members know the great work carried out by Meadow House Hospice and were keen to contribute to help a local cause.

Recently he, and other members of the club met with the lead nurses and presented them with the cheque and learned more on the incredible work they do at the hospice in in the wider Ealing community.
