So much to do, so little time
Last year's Summer Uni, now called Futureversity has a most comprehensive list of courses, both weekly, and single sessions for all over London during the holidays for ages from 5 - 19. Booking opens on 1st July and popular courses will go quickly. Be warned, the website is slow at best. Hounslow's summer courses can be found in a downloadable pdf at Hounslow's Go For It Summer 2010 Guide

Brentford Children’s Centre is now open from 9am-5pm every weekday and throughout the summer offering a range of classes and activities for children aged 0 -5 and their carers.
Activities for babies include baby signing (Monday 9.30 am-10.30am), messy play (Thursday 9.30am-10.30am) and baby massage (Friday 10am-11am),
Preschoolers can try out Tatty Bumpkins Family Yoga (Tuesday 10am-11.30am) or come to messy play sessions (Thursday 9.30am-10.30am). BCC are also running 6 workshops for parents of 2-3 yr olds which include a discussion on different aspects of managing children’s behaviour. These are free and are on Wednesday mornings from 10am-12pm.
If you just want to come along to Stay and Play sessions these take place on Tuesdays from 1pm-3pm and Thursdays from 1pm-3pm.
All our sessions are open to all and cost either 50p per child or a voluntary donation towards providing a snack for the children and purchasing art and craft materials.
BCC is open throughout the school holidays and are happy to allow older siblings up to age 7 to join in sessions, though we may have to restrict numbers if it gets too busy. Older siblings have also got the option to take part in activities run by the Green Dragon Holiday scheme which runs in the centre throughout the summer.
The centre staff can also help you with information on childcare options, council services, adult education classes and with searching for jobs and there’s an opportunity to chat to a Community midwife on a Wednesday between 9am-4pm.
Come into the centre to find out more about our summer theatre visits to Waterman’s Art Centre and to local parks.
For more information on any of our classes or services please call 020 8569 7969.
