Acton residents are being invited to kick off the festive season at St Dunstan’s Christmas Fair, which takes place on Saturday 21 November from 11.30am to 4pm at the church on Friars Place Lane.
The family-friendly event promises a traditional Christmas atmosphere, with a range of attractions designed to appeal to visitors of all ages. A highlight of the day will be Santa’s Grotto, giving children the chance to meet Father Christmas in an affordable local setting as excitement builds towards Christmas.
Alongside the grotto, visitors can browse a selection of artisan stalls offering gifts, crafts and festive treats. There will also be hot food, homemade cakes, tea and coffee available throughout the day, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy seasonal refreshments while supporting the church community.
Younger visitors will be able to take part in children's crafts, games and activities, while face painting and temporary tattoos are also planned. Organisers are hoping the fair will provide a welcoming opportunity for local families and neighbours to come together and enjoy the start of the festive season.
Admission costs £2 for adults, while children can attend free of charge. Entry also includes participation in a prize draw. Organisers have reminded visitors to bring cash on the day.
St Dunstan's is an Anglican church that was built in the Victorian era.
The church is at Friars Place Lane, Acton (W3 7AW).
