The Hootie is Coming To Acton This Saturday

This Saturday (9 October) there will be an opportunity to hear free live music on the Mount in Acton.

Fresh from the Hootie in the Meadow last month, acts from the local music festival Hanwell Hootie will be back in Acton. Hootie on the Mount will showcase local, up-and-coming talent.

The free live performances are part of the Love Ealing, Love Local events.

Provided by Ealing High Street’s Task Force,

The programme kicks off at 11am on the Mount in Acton with a performance from David Stone, follow by performances from Amy Mayson, Tommy Hare, Lola Aviva, The Wise Bloods and Emily Lee. Visit this Eventbrite page for details of the performance schedule and artists.

Supported by Ealing’s High Street Task Force partner Your Acton BID, and in collaboration with Action West London and Acton Market, the event will also feature an al fresco eating area where guests grab a seat and enjoy the wide range of food on offer from local businesses.

Guests will have access to a digital menu, featuring suggested take-away favourites from local restaurants. Visitors can also try some of theoptions on offer from the market. Table seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A Pint of Hops, the local craft beer shop based in Churchfield Road, will also be selling beer for guests to enjoy with the music, or to take home.

The free events are provided due to funding that Ealing’s High Streets Task Force has received from the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund and the Welcome Back Fund from the England European Regional Development Fund, as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
