Major New Arts Festival For Acton
Eco friendly event at the Aeronaut
Two local residents are putting on a new arts festival which they hope will shine a light on Acton and attract people from throughout the city.
Actors Robert Thorpe-Woods and Roxanne Cabassut say they noticed a lack of opportunity in the area for emerging artists and decided to do something about it.
They’ve created a day event at The Aeronaut pub called E- Merge Festival celebrating all art forms, whilst also being eco friendly and sustainable.
There will be no plastic used during the night, vegan food will be available and eco friendly cocktails.
The various artists will include poets, writes, actors, musicians, painters and graffiti artists.
They’ve been given a theme to work on and create a new piece of work ‘Impulse’ and will experiment and explore new ideas.
The festival will take place at The Aeronaut in Acton on the 25June.
