Registered Sex Offender Living in South Acton Behind Bars

Police checks identified the man hadn't alerted them of his move

A registered sex offender who failed to tell police he had changed address in South Acton is behind bars.

South Acton SNT discovered the man hadn't notified them after moving twice within a month.

PC Zhang had checked the man’s address previously and he had not made them aware of any changes after further checks it was found that he had failed to notify again.

The man's information was circulated and he was arrested by PS Clarke from East Acton and charged again.

The courts have now remanded him to prison and he awaits sentence.
