St Vincent’s School Holds ‘Night at the Races’

Fund raising event deemed a great success

St Vincent’s Primary School’s ‘Night at the Races’ on Friday 19 October was held to raise money for a new playground surface and playground equipment for the Acton school’s 500 pupils.

West London property company Orchards of London joined other local businesses in actively supporting the event which has been deemed a great success

Acton based plumbers and electrical services provider MPE Services, West London office cleaners Enviroclean as well as The Windmill, The George & Dragon and The Leamington also sponsored individual races during the fund-raising evening which included well known local resident and parent Nick Gough as ‘compere’, a fish and chip supper and many excited children cheering on their horses.

Daniel Meenagh was the lucky winner of the Orchards Gold Cup, the final race of the night and was delighted to receive his cup from Orchards’ Residential Sales Manager Liam Doherty.

Paul Connolly, Managing Director of Orchards commented:“Supporting St Vincent’s school is something close to my heart. I went to school at St Vincent’s and now having the ability to give back is a proud moment. Whether it is time or money being donated, every little helps and I could only encourage parents and local businesses to support St Vincent’s Primary School where possible”.
