Four pupils from East Acton Primary School have been awarded third place in the Mini Warriors category at the London Eco Champion Awards 2025, held on Monday 24 November at King’s Place, King’s Cross. The team, known as the Eco Warriors, were recognised for their outstanding “Cut Your Carbon” campaign, which mobilised their entire school community to take action on climate change.
The pupils — Aaliyah, Kairo, Rylie and Mattia — received medals on stage and were awarded vouchers for Active Play at the Sobell Centre and an animal encounter at Kentish Town City Farm. Their campaign included posters, assemblies, recycling drives and family engagement, helping to shift behaviours across classrooms and households.
